Leon "Sean" Brown Sentenced to 10-to-20 Years in Prison for Sex Trafficking

On September 16, 2013, Leon Brown a/k/a Sean Brown was sentenced to 10-to-20 years in state prison for forcing a teenage girl to work as a prostituted woman and violating an order of protection to harass her while the defendant was imprisoned at Rikers Island. On August 27, 2013, Brown was convicted of three counts of Sex Trafficking, two counts of Promoting Prostitution in the Third Degree, and one count of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. As proven at trial, Brown used physical violence, threats of harm, and psychological manipulation to compel the 17-year-old girl to engage in acts of prostitution and turn over all the money she earned to Brown, who also branded the teenage girl with his pimp name, “Sean the Don.”
