Vincent Heyward Sentenced to 428 Years-to-Life for Series of Violent Sexual Attacks on Five Women in 2009

On December 12, 2011, Vincent Heyward was sentenced to 428 years-to-life in prison after he was convicted at trial for a series of violent sexual attacks on five women in 2009. During a two-month period, Heyward illegally entered victims’ apartment buildings before raping, sodomizing, assaulting, and robbing them. Heyward was found guilty of eighteen counts of Predatory Sexual Assault, one count of Rape in the First Degree, Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, two counts of Burglary in the First Degree, two counts of Robbery in the First Degree, four counts of Burglary in the Second Degree, one count of Attempted Rape, two counts of Robbery in the Second Degree, and four counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree.
