Application Process

Second-year and first semester third-year law students who are interested in being considered for a semester internship should submit an application online. Applicants will be required to attach a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, writing sample, and the names and telephone numbers of three professional references. Cover letters should be addressed to:

All internships are for academic credit.  Please see your law school Internship Coordinator or Public Interest Office for more information.

We begin accepting applications for the Fall Semester on March 15th and the deadline is by 5:00pm, April 15th. For Spring Semester we begin accepting applications on October 15th and the deadline is by 5:00pm, November 15th. Interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis and students are encouraged to send their applications in before the deadline.

Applicants invited to interview must bring to the interview an official law school transcript, a writing sample, and a list of three academic or professional references. Offers are made on a rolling basis.
